Bishop Baraga Catholic School is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team in Iron Mountain, MI. As an Administrative Assistant, you are responsible for supporting the front office by greeting visitors, answering phones, handling paperwork, managing student records and supplies, and assisting with basic student needs.

WHAT YOU WILL DO.

• Greet visitors, answer inquiries, and direct individuals to appropriate resources or staff members.
• Handle general word processing, correspondence, filing, and school records.
• Manage incoming calls, take messages, and facilitate communication within the school community.
• Handle fundraising income, monitor attendance records, and assist with financial deposits.
• Maintain student records, assist with registration, and manage student medication logs and field trip forms.
• Order and manage school supplies, textbooks, and furniture as needed.
• Communications announcements and correspond with parents and families through email and school communication platform.
• Aid students who are sick or injured, communicating with parents as necessary.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

• High school diploma required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years of office experience is preferred.
• Experience working in an educational environment is a plus.
• Practicing Catholic preferred.
• Excellent communication and public relations skills.
• Proficient in office software.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
