NYCOA seeks an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join their team in Manchester, New Hampshire. As Senior Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for leading NYCOA’s Quality Assurance team and implementing quality improvement projects in Operations. This position works with Operations and the Business team to improve NYCOA’s product quality enabling new product success. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of quality systems, root cause analysis, and project implementation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide Quality support to the Operations group to identify areas to improve quality and implement quality improvement projects.
• Perform data analysis to drive continuous improvement actions.
• Support New Business Development by identifying areas of improvement needed to support new products and implementing improvements.
• Process Owner for the Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015)
• Lead Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action activities.
• Control of Non-Conforming Materials and customer complaint process.
• Perform Quality Management Systems Audits.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
• Technical background preferred.
• 8+ years of experience working in quality required.
• Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Experience in ISO 9001 or equivalent quality systems required, experience in additional quality systems preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written) with the ability to effectively interact and communicate with all departments and levels of the organization.
