S & S Concrete Floors seeks a full-time Equipment Mechanic to join our team in New Ipswich, New Hampshire.

WHAT WE OFFER.

  • $20.00 – $30.00 per hour starting pay based on experience.

  • Company vehicle provided when travel is required.
  • DOT medical card paid for by company for eligible drivers.
  • Full-time Monday–Friday position generally working 7am–5pm. Some schedule flexibility is available.

WHAT YOU WILL DO.

  • Troubleshoot, Repair, and Maintain Equipment. From fixing machinery to performing routine maintenance, you’ll ensure our equipment runs smoothly in both inside and outside environments.
  • On-Site Repairs. Occasionally, you may need to perform repairs right at the job site.
  • Shipping and Receiving. Manage the logistics of incoming and outgoing equipment.
  • Loading and Unloading. Safely load and unload equipment, trailers, and box trucks.
  • Sales and Inventory. Assist with the sale of equipment and tools, and conduct annual inventory checks.
  • Research and Purchases. Help with researching and purchasing new equipment, tools, and supplies as needed.
  • Handle billing paperwork and other necessary documentation as needed.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

  • Experienced Mechanic. You should have experience with concrete construction equipment and related machinery.
  • Tech-Savvy. Working knowledge of computers, especially Excel and Word.
  • Organized and Communicative. Excellent time management and communication skills are a must.
  • Team Player. You work well with others and contribute positively to the team.
  • Technical Knowledge. Proficiency in hydraulics, gas, diesel, and electrical systems is important.
  • Ability to work inside and outside in a variety of weather conditions (hot, cold, windy, rainy, damp, dirty, noisy, etc.)
