As a System Administrator, you’ll play a key role in keeping everything running smoothly—servers, networks, phone systems, and more. You’ll be the go-to person for troubleshooting, updates, security, and backups. If you enjoy working with Microsoft technologies like Active Directory, MS 365, and VMware, this may be a perfect fit for you.

WHAT WE OFFER.

  • $75,000 – $90,000 annual starting salary based on your knowledge and experience.
  • PLUS $10,000 sign-on bonus, or use for relocation assistance.
  • Health, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage; flexible spending account.
  • Short and long-term disability insurance; life insurance.
  • 401K retirement plan.
  • Paid time off and paid holidays.
  • Company cell phone, or cell phone allowance.
  • Full-time Monday-Friday schedule with a flexible schedule (based on your needs and business needs).

WHAT YOU WILL DO.

  • Manage and monitor our IT infrastructure, including servers, firewalls, routers, switches, and access points.
  • Administer and troubleshoot MS Server/Workstations and Microsoft 365.
  • Provide friendly and efficient user support—helping with everything from printers to smartphones.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure optimal configurations and tackle any issues.
  • Play an active role in our disaster recovery planning and future upgrades.
  • Support LAN/WAN networks, working with vendors to maintain a reliable, secure environment.
  • Ensure backups run smoothly and are tested regularly.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation (yes, sometimes we need you on nights and weekends, but it’s shared and fair).
  • Travel to our healthcare system locations, as needed.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

  • Experience with IT systems like DHCP, DNS, MS Active Directory, VMware, and more.
  • Professional healthcare IT experience a bonus.
  • A knack for troubleshooting and solving problems on the fly.
  • Great communication skills, helping both tech-savvy and non-tech-savvy users.
  • Certification in IT (such as MCSA, VCP) is a plus!
  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in an IT-related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to UGLFH locations throughout the region (5 – 10%) as needed.
