If so, the Copper Country Intermediate School District (CCISD) has an immediate opening for an Autism Teacher Consultant in Hancock, Michigan. We believe in the limitless potential of every student. As an Autism Teacher Consultant, you will coordinate services for children with autism by consulting, training, and coaching others on evidence-based instructional practices and behavior intervention plans.

WHAT WE OFFER.
- $50,200 – $77,800 annual starting salary based on education and experience.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.
- Michigan teaching certificate required.
- Endorsement as K-12 Teacher for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), or ability to obtain approval as a teacher consultant for students with ASD.
- Experience is a plus; passion is essential. While prior teaching experience is valued, it’s not the sole compass guiding our search. Above all, we’re on the hunt for individuals dedicated to ensuring that every student, including those with autism, receives the support they need to thrive academically and socially. Your commitment to this endeavor speaks volumes and goes beyond mere years in the classroom.
- Proven experience as a collaborative team player.
- A deep understanding of evidence-based instructional practices for students with ASD.
- Ability to ignite enthusiasm in others through dynamic consultation, training, and coaching sessions.
- Someone able to spearhead the development and implementation of autism support plans.
- A desire to continually increase your knowledge of teaching and an unrelenting ability to make positive change in the lives of students.
