Laser North, a laser cutting and fabrication specialist, seeks a full-time Production Manager to join their team in Baraga, Michigan.

The Production Manager oversees daily operations on the production floor, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality in every aspect of the workflow. Collaborating closely with the management team, this role leads a customer-focused operations team, driving productivity and continuous improvement. With a strong emphasis on safety, quality, cost control, and on-time delivery, the Production Manager plays a key role in advancing the organization’s goals and overall success.

What You Will Do:

• Lead & develop a high-performing production team, encouraging personal and professional growth.
• Champion safety by promoting safe behaviors and eliminating hazards.
• Improve processes to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and remove bottlenecks.
• Manage resources—align personnel, equipment, and schedules for seamless production.
• Communicate effectively between shifts, departments, and leadership teams.
• Monitor performance and provide daily updates on key production metrics.
• Collaborate on hiring new production team members as needed.
• Ensure organization and compliance, maintaining high shop floor standards.

What We Are Looking For:

• 4+ years of experience in production or operations management preferred.
• 3+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience preferred.
• A proven track record of optimizing production processes for efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• A team-focused leader with a positive, can-do attitude and strong motivational skills.
• Confidence in making critical decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software for reporting and planning.
• The ability to:
