The Copper Country Intermediate School District is hiring a Career & Technical Education (CTE) Supervisor in Hancock, Michigan to support and inspire the educators, students, and programs that make up our dynamic Career & Technical Education department. Career and Technical Education is a gateway for students to explore their passions, build real-world skills, and launch strong futures. As our CTE Supervisor, you’ll be at the center of that mission—providing day-to-day support for instructional staff, helping students with individualized education plans (IEPs or 504s) find success, and coordinating meaningful professional development. You’ll also help build bridges between local schools, families, postsecondary partners, and community stakeholders to create a strong, supportive learning environment across the Copper Country.

WHAT WE OFFER.

• $80,000 – $95,000 annual starting salary based on education and experience.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING.

• Support CTE instructors and staff with tools and systems to serve students with IEPs, 504 plans, or other special needs.
• Develop and collaborate with educators on methods to track student attendance, grades, behavior, and lead intervention strategies when needed.
• Coordinate and contribute to Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and help all students succeed in their CTE programs.
• Build relationships with local school leaders and serve as a liaison with area principals.
• Work with the CTE Director to shape curriculum, plan professional development, and support program improvement across all CTE sites.
• Help guide enrollment efforts, Early Middle College (EMC) programming, dual enrollment, recruitment, and articulation agreements with colleges.
• Step in when needed to provide backup coverage and support across our three-county service area.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

• Michigan School Administrator Certificate is required.
• Master’s degree in educational leadership, administration, or a related field (or ability to obtain) preferred.
• 3 or more years of successful school administration or leadership experience preferred.
• 3 or more years of experience supporting students with IEPs/504s or other special populations helpful.
• Experience delivering professional development and implementing MTSS frameworks a plus.
