Swick Home Services is seeking an organized part-time Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team in Marquette, MI. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will manage and oversee the invoicing and collection of payments from customers. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and accurate billing and maintain strong communication with clients to resolve outstanding balances.

WHAT WE OFFER.

• Competitive starting wage of $17.00 per hour.

• Schedule: 3 days per week. 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (24 hours per week)

WHAT YOU WILL DO.

• Generate and send accurate customer invoices in a timely manner.
• Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts and proactively follow up on overdue accounts (collections).
• Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Maintain detailed records of all account activity and customer communications.
• Process incoming payments and apply them correctly to customer accounts.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing issues and disputes.
• Prepare AR aging reports and assist in month-end closing procedures.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant accounting regulations.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• Experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and billing procedures.
• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
