Stone Plumbing & Heating is hiring a Project Manager to join their leadership team in their newly built shop in Duluth, Minnesota. This full-time role is a great fit for a natural organizer who loves seeing projects come together smoothly—from the first phone call to the final inspection. You’ll be the bridge between customers, technicians, and the leadership team making sure every project runs efficiently, safely, and successfully—reflecting the quality and values Stone is known for.

WHAT WE OFFER.

• $95,000 – $125,000 annual starting pay based on experience.
• PLUS $4,000–$8,000 sign-on bonus based on experience.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING.

• Plan and manage materials, manpower, and scheduling for each job.
• Order materials as needed to keep projects on track.
• Communicate project details clearly to your team and our customers.
• Develop clear scopes of work and ensure top-quality craftsmanship.
• Handle invoicing for progress billing jobs and commercial projects.
• Keep customers informed on project status and timelines.
• Approve time-off requests and help balance workloads.
• Use HCP software to manage operations and reporting (training provided).
• Provide regular updates and reports to Sales and Finance.
• Always look professional and act with integrity—do what’s right.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR.

You have hands-on experience managing plumbing and/or HVAC projects—whether in residential, commercial, or industrial settings—and you understand what it takes to get jobs done right, on time, and within budget.

• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in plumbing, mechanical, or construction project management preferred; background as a plumber or technician is a strong plus.
• Leadership: You know how to guide and motivate teams, balancing accountability with support.
• Organization: You’re skilled at juggling multiple projects, timelines, and priorities without letting details slip through the cracks.
• Communication: You build trust through clear, respectful communication with customers, teammates, and subcontractors.
• Problem-Solving: You approach challenges calmly and creatively, always finding a way forward.
• Technical Knowledge: You understand plumbing and mechanical systems, codes, and best practices and are comfortable learning new software tools (like HCP).
• Professionalism: You take pride in your work, maintain a polished appearance, and represent the company with integrity.
• Requirements: A valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record is required; project management certification or trade licensing is a plus.
