Bandon Vision Center is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join our team in Bandon, Oregon. As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients—welcoming them into the practice, managing check-ins, answering phones, and supporting daily office operations.

If you’re motivated, organized, and eager to grow, we’re happy to train the right person. Prior experience is helpful, but attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn matter most.

SCHEDULE

• Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Full-time position

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Greet patients and assist with check-in and check-out.
• Answer phones and handle appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and patient inquiries.
• Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring confidentiality.
• Assist with billing, insurance information, and payment collection as needed.
• Keep the front desk and waiting area clean and organized.
• Manage office supplies and support daily administrative operations.
• Provide general administrative support to the team.
• Assist with office management tasks as needed (experience a plus).

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Customer service or receptionist experience preferred.
• Office Manager experience is a plus.
• Medical or optometry office experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Comfortable using computers, phones, and office equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Dependable, professional, and able to work scheduled office hours.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.
