WHAT YOU WILL DO.

  • Help keep our local power systems running safely and reliably by maintaining and repairing equipment at hydroelectric, combustion turbine, and steam generating facilities.

  • Participate in training and support teammates through hands-on, on-the-job learning.
  • Assist with snow removal, grounds keeping, and general plant and site maintenance as needed.
  • Communicate clearly using phones and two-way radios.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, along with mechanical or electrical training. An Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology, Millwright certificate, or similar education is preferred.
  • 3 years in an industrial, military, electric generation or utility environment operating and maintaining mechanical and/or electrical equipment such as pumps, turbines, generators, heavy equipment, boilers, and electrical panels required. Preference given to candidates with hydroelectric generating facility experience.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, good manual dexterity, and the ability to learn and apply new maintenance skills.
