Superior Block Company, a complete masonry supplier for concrete, architectural, retaining wall and paver blocks, fireplaces, manufactured stone and building materials, has an immediate opening for a Class A CDL Truck Driver to join their team in Houghton, Michigan.

WHAT WE OFFER.

• $25.00 – $30.00 per hour starting pay based on your experience.

SCHEDULE. This is a full-time, seasonal position (May/June–October/November) working Monday–Friday; occasional Saturday’s if needed, and opportunity for overtime.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

• You hold a Class A CDL, a current medical card, and meet all required DOT qualifications.
• Experience operating a dump truck and/or block truck is helpful.
• You can safely secure loads, climb on and off trucks and trailers, and handle the physical side of the job with confidence.
• You know how to perform required DOT inspections, check vehicle and axle weights, and make sure everything is ready before delivery.
• You are comfortable handling minor truck repairs and basic maintenance when needed.
• You maintain accurate driver logs and follow state and federal regulations.
• You take safety seriously, wear the right PPE, and do your part to keep yourself and others safe.
• You do not mind working outdoors and can handle changing weather conditions like a pro.
• You are dependable, hardworking, and take pride in being someone others can count on.
• You stay organized, bring good energy to the team, and work well both on your own and alongside others.
• You can work efficiently, stay on schedule, and get the job done right.
