NYCOA is seeking a highly motivated HR Generalist to support the day-to-day human resources operations at their Manchester, New Hampshire facility. In this role, you will play a key part in fostering a positive workplace culture while supporting employees and leadership across a variety of HR functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on company policies and resolving workplace concerns.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting roles, screening candidates, and supporting a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws and assist in maintaining and updating HR policies and employee handbooks.
  • Administer employee benefits and support payroll processes to ensure accuracy in compensation and leave tracking.
  • Support performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and performance improvement initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP is highly desirable.
  • 3–5 years of HR generalist experience including recruiting, employee relations, performance management, and benefits administration required.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HRIS platforms (Paychex required, ADP a plus) and Microsoft Office.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

LOCATION:
Onsite at the Manchester, New Hampshire facility.
