A+ Pest Management, a locally owned and operated pest control company, is hiring a Route Manager/Technician to join their team in Houghton, Michigan, or any of the surrounding areas of Houghton, Baraga, or Ontonagon Counties. We’re looking for someone personable, energetic, and customer-focused who enjoys helping people and solving problems. No pest control experience? No problem. People with backgrounds in customer service, construction account management, beverage route distribution, and hospitality have successfully transitioned into this career. We provide all the training you need to succeed.

SCHEDULE/REGION. This is a full-time position generally working Monday–Friday 8am–5pm working mainly in Houghton, Baraga and Ontonagon counties of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

• Previous pest control experience is helpful but not required. We’re happy to train the right person.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record is required.
• Ability to perform physical work, including walking, bending, crouching, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds repeatedly, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, and safely handling pest control chemicals while using protective equipment.
• Ability to obtain Michigan Pesticide Applicator Certification within 30 days of hire. Training and learning materials are provided at no cost.
