The Tervo Agency has an immediate opening for an Account Manager to join their Personal Insurance Lines Team in-office in Hancock, Michigan.

WHAT YOU WILL DO.

  • Manage a portfolio of personal lines insurance accounts, providing guidance and support to clients with their insurance needs.
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers to ensure clients receive the best coverage options tailored to their needs.
  • Assist clients with policy inquiries, claims processing, and policy adjustments, delivering prompt and efficient service.
  • Grow strong relationships with clients, earning their trust and loyalty through attentive communication and proactive assistance.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and insurance products to effectively advise clients and address their concerns.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

  • Professionalism with a customer-focused approach that is helpful and able to communicate with a variety of people by phone, email, and in-person.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the insurance industry required (ex: agent, adjuster, underwriter, billing specialist, claims, customer service, sales, administrative assistant).
  • Licensure in Michigan Property & Casualty, or willingness to obtain license if hired.
  • Knowledge of personal lines insurance products preferred.
  • Strong computer skills (internet, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Calendar).
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, remain organized, and meet deadlines.
