Laser North, a professional sheet metal and structural fabrication company, seeks an Estimator to join their team in Baraga, Michigan. All levels of experience being considered and are encouraged to apply. We will train someone motivated who wants to build a career in the manufacturing industry.

WHAT YOU WILL DO.

• Calculate costs for materials, labor, and other project elements.
• Estimate and bid various fabricated metal parts and assemblies.
• Communicate with clients to gather project requirements or clarify details.
• Follow-up with customers to gather feedback and address any questions.
• Provide technical support to customers and the production team, as necessary.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

• A robust combination of positive attitude, professionalism, and work experience to provide the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the job.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Keen ability to remain organized.
• 3 years’ experience in metal manufacturing preferred, but not required.
• Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience with SolidWorks®, AutoCAD®, or other computer-based drafting programs preferred, but not required.
