The Copper Country Intermediate School District (CCISD) seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join their team in Hancock, Michigan. In this role, you work each day to help students with behavioral needs succeed—academically, socially, and emotionally. You provide guidance and coaching to staff, develop and implement behavior intervention plans, and create positive, trauma-competent supports that make a real difference in our classrooms. You also collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, families, and caregivers, all while encouraging thoughtful communication and a compassionate approach.

WHAT WE OFFER.
- $51,800 – $80,300 annual starting salary based on education and years of experience.
- Health insurance, or if no health insurance is needed—-we’ll pay you $643.19/month instead (yes, even during the summer break).
- Dental, vision, life, and accidental death/dismemberment insurance at no cost to the employee; CCISD pays 100% of premiums.
- Additional optional insurance benefits available.

WHAT YOU WILL DO.
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and provide coaching and consultation.
- Support staff daily with strategies, data collection, and behavior plan implementation.
- Train and supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), teachers, and support staff.
- Support Positive Behavior Intervention Systems (PBIS) across school programs.
- Collect and analyze student data to drive decision-making.
- Lead meetings, collaborate with families, and support team communication.
- Help develop resources, materials, and protocols for communication, social skills, adaptive skills, and more.
- Participate in professional development, workshops, and training.
- Maintain accurate documentation, ethical practices, and confidentiality.
- Stay current with ABA best practices and maintain BCBA certification.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.
- Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health, or a related field.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- 3+ years of experience in behavioral services.
- Experience supervising RBTs or other staff.
- Strong communication skills paired with a calm, collaborative, and supportive approach.
- Commitment to reflective practice and continuous learning.
