Copper Country Community Mental Health Services seeks a full-time Administrative Assistant to join their team in Ontonagon, Michigan.

This full-time position is perfect for a friendly, detail-oriented person who enjoys variety in their workday. You’ll be an essential part of our team, providing clerical and administrative support that helps us deliver quality services to our community.

WHAT YOU WILL DO.

  • Coordinate scheduling of transportation for consumers to and from CCMH services.
  • Help with staff scheduling to keep our operations running seamlessly.
  • Assist with representative payee accounts and manage petty cash reconciliation.
  • Keep schedules organized for psychiatrists and prepare charts for appointments.
  • Assist staff with minor IT issues.
  • Occasionally pass client medications as required.
  • Maintain and organize consumer records, including electronic medical records.
  • Handle routine office tasks like scanning, filing, typing reports, and phone coverage.

WHAT WE OFFER.

  • $15.30 – $21.97 per hour based on experience.

  • Full-time Monday – Friday position generally working 8am – 5pm.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

  • 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 6 months’ professional office experience required.
  • Experience working with electronic medical records preferred.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word and Outlook email/calendar is required.
  • A pleasant personality that is helpful and able to communicate with a variety of people by phone, email, and in-person.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, remain organized, and meet deadlines.
