NYCOA is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor (Chemical Manufacturing) to lead and support manufacturing employees at our Manchester, NH facility.

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on manufacturing leader who enjoys being on the production floor, supporting employees, solving problems, and helping a team meet daily safety, quality, and production goals.

Experience in chemical manufacturing, plastics, extrusion, polymer production, or another continuous-process environment is preferred, but we are also interested in experienced supervisors from other industrial manufacturing backgrounds.

What You Will Do

• Lead and support production employees throughout your assigned shift.
• Coordinate daily production activities to meet safety, quality, output, and scheduling goals.
• Maintain a safe working environment and reinforce company safety procedures.
• Coach, train, motivate, and provide feedback to employees.
• Communicate production priorities, expectations, and shift updates clearly.
• Work alongside the production team and assist with operations when needed.
• Identify production or equipment issues and help coordinate solutions.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, communication, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor production activity and complete required documentation.
• Use company software and systems to track production and operational information.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Comfortable working around industrial machinery and manufacturing processes.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
• Available to work the required 12-hour rotating schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

• Three or more years of manufacturing supervisory experience.
• Experience in plastics, chemical processing, extrusion, polymer manufacturing, or another continuous-process manufacturing environment.
• Experience directly leading or collaborating with chemical or process engineering personnel is a plus.
• Experience working in a unionized facility.
• Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning software.
• Technical knowledge of chemical or industrial production processes.

Schedule

This position works a rotating 12-hour schedule:

• 5 consecutive day shifts: 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
• 5 consecutive days off
• 5 consecutive night shifts: 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
• 5 consecutive days off

The rotation provides extended stretches of scheduled time off between work periods.
