WHAT WE OFFER.
- $56,400 or more annual starting salary to be based on your education and experience.

- Paid sick days (10) and paid personal days (4).
- Michigan Public School Employee Retirement Plan (MPSERS).
- Professional development assistance and opportunities for advancement.
- Full-time school-year position with summers off. Some possible paid summer hours as needed.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING.
- Coaching teachers and support staff on classroom management and behavior strategies.
- Helping implement behavior plans that work in real classrooms.
- Collaborating with school teams and ISD staff to solve challenges creatively and compassionately.
- Modeling classroom techniques and supporting students directly when needed.
- Providing professional development and training sessions.
- Keeping clear records and communicating regularly with schools and families.
- Traveling to school sites within Baraga, Houghton, and Keweenaw Counties.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.
- A certified teacher in Michigan with 5+ years of successful elementary classroom experience.
- Someone who understands the needs of students with behavioral, emotional, or social challenges.
- Experienced in PBIS and MTSS, and confident in delivering training to fellow educators.
- Organized, collaborative, and an excellent communicator.
- Drive and ambition to help all students succeed.
- Valid Michigan driver’s license and willingness to travel to local schools, meetings, and conferences is required.
BONUS POINTS FOR:
- A master’s degree.
- Experience supervising or mentoring new teachers.
- Knowledge of special education and behavior intervention strategies.
- Confidence in presenting to groups and using data to guide decisions.
