S & W Construction, an excavation and concrete foundation company, seeks a full-time Concrete Pump Truck Driver/Operator to join their team in Brookings, South Dakota.

This position places ready-mix concrete at residential construction sites throughout eastern South Dakota. The ideal candidate is reliable and has a clean driving record. Previous experience operating a concrete pump truck is preferred, but not required. We will train those with an excellent work ethic and who want to learn.

WHAT WE OFFER.

• $30.00 – $40.00 per hour starting wage.
• Year-round position generally working Monday-Friday from 7am–5pm with weekly overtime available and occasional Saturday work during busy season.
• Paid holidays.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

• Valid driver’s license and Class B CDL required.
• Experience operating a concrete pump truck preferred.
• Residential construction experience a bonus.
• Possess a physical ability to set-up equipment and direct the boom to control concrete output as needed for safe delivery of material.
• Perform general laborer work onsite as needed.
• Knowledge and ability to perform pre and post trip truck safety inspections such as checking fluid levels of engine oil, antifreeze, tire pressure, brakes, hydraulic systems, and line systems.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English with jobsite foremen and work crews.
• Exceptional work ethic and top-notch customer service skills.
• You are organized, reliable and work well individually and as a team member.
• You work well under time constraints and can ensure deadlines are met.
• Must be able to pass a pre-hire drug screening.
