The Controller will manage all financial activities and work directly with the CFO and management team to provide leadership and strategies to achieve business goals. You will help direct financially strong operations in this hands-on position by ensuring quality and accuracy of financial management throughout the organization via internal controls, processes, and business analysis, and provide timely reviews to management. WHAT YOU WILL DO.

• Financial Execution. Manage and coordinate all accounting transactions and financial reporting while maintaining standardized processes and timelines. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, analysis and statistics. Proactively promote efficient use of EPICOR operating system, participate on EPICOR steering committee, and provide direction to stakeholders on use of software. Coordinate with CFO for review of corporate accounts and tax preparation; ensure reports and tax returns are submitted on time.
• Supervise Team. Directly supervises all Accounting staff members and includes recruitment and selection, training and development, performance evaluation/continuous feedback, recognition, employee accountability and administrative duties.
• Partner with CFO in preparation of budgets, reviewing proposals, and preparing necessary supporting documentation on time and as requested.
• Analyze expenditure requests and financial performance against results to areas where efficiencies, cost reductions, and productivity gains can be made.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related field required.
• CPA, CMA or MBA designation a bonus.
• 5+ years working in financial management or similar experience required; work experience from a manufacturing and/or capital equipment company preferred.
• Experience supporting the budget planning process, working with monthly financials, letters of credit/credit insurance and/or international business a bonus.
• Ability to communicate in a clear, concise manner and present business data/financial analysis to stakeholders.
• Advanced skills with Excel including connecting to data sources to drive financial reporting required.
• Epicor ERP operating system experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to handle the rewards and stress of a high-level position.
• Keen analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills required.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness/ability to travel infrequently (5% or less) as required.
