Moyle Real Estate and Development is looking for a Property Management Coordinator to support day-to-day operations across our residential and commercial properties in Houghton, Michigan.

This is a great role for someone who likes being the person who keeps things organized. You follow through. You notice details other people miss. You enjoy working with tenants and vendors, and you can move comfortably between paperwork, phone calls, property visits, software updates, and problem-solving. You do not need every day to look the same. In fact, you probably prefer that it doesn’t.

WHAT YOU’LL DO. You help keep properties, paperwork, tenants, vendors, and work orders moving in the right direction — creating property management magic.

  • Prepare and process lease agreements, renewals, amendments, terminations, rent adjustments, deposits, and move-in/move-out documents.
  • Track lease expirations, send renewal notices, coordinate signatures, and keep tenant records accurate in the property management system.
  • Serve as a friendly, professional point of contact for tenant questions, requests, and concerns.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests from start to finish, including work orders, vendor scheduling, contractor follow-up, and quality checks.
  • Assist with move-in, move-out, and routine property inspections with the Property Manager.
  • Support rent collection, late fee processing, delinquency follow-up, occupancy reports, and maintenance activity reports.
  • Help with leasing and marketing tasks, including unit tours, listing updates, and social media updates.
  • Follow fair housing, landlord-tenant laws, company policies, and the all-important “keep good notes” rule.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Property Manager as needed.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR.

  • The ideal candidate has 1 or more years’ experience in property management, leasing, real estate administration, or a related role.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, or a related field is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of residential and commercial leases.
  • Strong customer service, organization, and follow-through skills.
  • Your attention to detail is spot-on to keep records, reports, leases, and tenant information accurate.
  • Comfort using technology (email, tenant portals, digital records, and property management software).
  • Experience with property management software (Yardi, AppFolio, RealPage, Buildium, or similar) is helpful.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
