Jacquart Fabric Products, home of the iconic Stormy Kromer brand, seeks a Director of Growth & Marketing to join their leadership team in Ironwood, Michigan. Applicants have their choice of working hybrid remote (3 days in-office each week; 2 days remote), or full-time in-office. Hybrid remote positions must reside within a reasonable driving distance of the Ironwood headquarters.

This key position will drive revenue across Stormy Kromer’s three channels–direct digital, wholesale, and our factory retail store—and have overall responsibility for all marketing activities including the sales, marketing, and customer service teams. This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer.


  • $80,000 – $100,000 annual starting salary based on your knowledge and experience.

  • Create/implement short and long-term sales/marketing strategies.
  • Forecast revenue and expenses for Stormy Kromer.
  • Monitor/manage channel investments ensuring ROI and objectives are met.
  • Develop strategy/growth initiatives for Owned Channels (email, SMS, direct, organic social, blogs, etc.), Paid Media Channels (Google and other paid search, print, paid social, affiliate/influencer and more), Earned Media (SEO, public relations), Events, and Retailer Merchandising.
  • Develop ecommerce strategy and execution (website u/x, website merchandising, etc.)
  • Develop strategy and execution that tells the Stormy Kromer brand story in all channels.
  • Direct Marketing Manager and external resources to ensure strategies are executed accurately.
  • Work with/provide direction to the Wholesale Sales Manager to ensure revenue targets are met.
  • Support/provide direction to Customer Service Manager to ensure optimal customer satisfaction in all interactions, advise on retail store merchandising, special events, and advertising.
  • Implement a continuous improvement mindset across the sales and marketing teams by constantly testing new campaigns and initiatives along with mentoring and developing team member skills.


  • 7 or more years’ experience in growth or sales management, marketing, or a related strategic position required.
  • Degree in Business, Management, Communications, Marketing, Sales or other related discipline, or equivalent combination education and experience preferred.
  • Direct experience in digital marketing and creative strategy required.
  • Strong knowledge of sales processes and marketing strategies in B2B and B2C preferred.
  • Experience working in the outdoor apparel industry a bonus.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent time management, organization and communication skills.
  • A leadership style that encourages, mentors, and motivates others to achieve greatness.
  • Flexibility to work long hours (during busy season) is required.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to tradeshows, events, and meetings is required.
