L’Anse Manufacturing, Inc., a diverse manufacturing and engineering company, seeks a Cost Estimator to join their team in L’Anse, Michigan.

In this role, you’ll be a key player in helping us deliver accurate, reliable estimates that support our reputation for quality and precision. You’ll work closely with our Cost Estimation Manager, customers, vendors, and internal teams to calculate material, labor, and overhead costs, maintain job shop software and CAD data, and analyze technical requirements to help guide manufacturing processes.

COMPETITIVE STARTING SALARY: $50,000–$80,000 annually, based on your experience and qualifications.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

  • A degree in Engineering, Operations, or Manufacturing preferred.
  • 3 or more years of manufacturing experience with a background in estimating, purchasing, and quality control required.
  • Strong background in project management required.
  • Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Excel, and CAD software required.
  • A team player with great communication and a sharp eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with job shop software like ProShop (a plus).
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, as needed.
