Stang Family Eyecare seeks a full-time Front Desk Receptionist to join their team in Marquette, MI. As our Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the friendly face that welcomes patients and ensures their visit runs smoothly. You will handle scheduling, check-ins, insurance verification, and payments, while keeping the doctor and team on schedule.

This role is a blend of customer service and administrative support, perfect for someone who enjoys helping people and staying organized in a fast-paced environment!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Welcome patients and create a positive first impression.
• Answer phones, emails, and assist with scheduling appointments.
• Check in patients, verify insurance, and update records.
• Collect payments and explain insurance benefits clearly.
• Assist with patient check out and schedule follow-up appointments.
• Maintain confidentiality and provide exceptional customer service.
• Support with administrative tasks as needed.

SCHEDULE

Full-Time (M, W, Th, F 8:30a – 5pm and Tu 10am – 6pm).

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma is required.
• Experience working in a customer service or receptionist role is preferred.
• Experience working in a medical office is a plus.

• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
