Vollwerth & Co. seeks a motivated, entry-level General Laborer to join our Production team in Hancock, Michigan.  This full-time position plays an important role in supporting daily manufacturing and packaging operations in a fast-paced food production environment.

Previous experience is not required – we provide training for individuals who are dependable, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to a team-oriented workplace.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in producing and packaging products in a manufacturing environment.
• Operate food processing machinery as needed.
• Follow manufacturing procedures and quality control guidelines to ensure product consistency and safety.
• Handle materials and tools for assembly line production.
• Support the production team in various fabrication and tooling activities.
• Perform basic math calculations for measuring and production tasks.
• Follow direction from supervisors and maintain a positive, team-focused attitude.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to work Monday through Friday.
• Ability to work every other Saturday during the summer months.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (8-10 hours).
• Physically capable of working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Previous experience in manufacturing or meat processing preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong work ethic and collaborative team mindset.

SCHEDULE: Full-time. In-person position based in Hancock, Michigan.
