NYCOA is seeking a self-motivated Inside Technical Sales Representative to join their team in Manchester, NH. As an Inside Technical Sales Representative, you will use technology and personal skills to play a valuable role in a fast-growing US-manufacturing company. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compile, maintain, and analyze data over time to forecast sales trends.
- Review past sales data to determine trends in productivity.
- Prepare accurate reports using data from internal and external sources.
- Evaluate third-party data to determine best practices.
- Present actionable information and insights to team members and management.
- Gather and analyze data in order to understand problems and address them proactively.
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
- Understand customer needs and requirements in different markets and applications.
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
- Close sales to achieve budget goals.
- Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest.
- Follow and close all leads from Trade Shows.
- Review pricing performance by industry and develop trends for management.
- Recommend plans for new product introductions as part of the PM team.
- Evaluate market competition and offer proposals for positioning the product lines.
COMPENSATION/BENEFITS: NYCOA offers a competitive annual salary of $60,000 – $75,000 commensurate with education and experience, as well as an excellent benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid holidays and sick time, and eligibility for 401(k) after six months.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, or related field required.
- 1+ years’ previous sales experience preferred.
- Proficiency with corporate productivity and web presentation tools preferred.
- Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM software preferred.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience managing multiple calls per day is a plus.
- Strong listening and presentation skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
- Advanced problem-solving, analytical, and prioritization skills.
- Able to multi-task while staying organized.
