The Copper Country Intermediate School District (CCISD) seeks a School Psychologist Intern to join their team in Hancock, Michigan. In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals while gaining hands-on experience in psychoeducational assessment and supporting the implementation of a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) across school districts in Baraga, Houghton, and Keweenaw Counties. Under the supervision of a fully licensed school psychologist, you’ll build valuable experience while helping students access the support they need to thrive.

WHAT WE OFFER.
- $55,600 – $58,900 annual starting salary based on education and experience.
- Health insurance, or if no health insurance is needed—-we’ll pay you $661.84/month instead.
- Dental and vision insurance at no cost to the employee; CCISD pays 100% of premiums.

- Full-time school year position.
WHAT YOU WILL DO.
- Assist with psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for special education services.
- Gather assessment data through testing, observations, and collaboration with team members.
- Help interpret findings and support communication with educators, parents, and other professionals.
- Participate in student support meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators regarding student learning, behavior, and mental health concerns.
- Support intervention planning and implementation within MTSS and PBIS frameworks.
- Help maintain records, reports, and documentation related to assessments and student services.
- Participate in training, mentorship, and professional learning opportunities to build your school psychology skills.
