Copper Country Community Mental Health is hiring a full-time Children’s Client Services Manager in Houghton, Michigan. This role works closely with children, families, supervisors, clinical staff, and community partners—perfect for someone who enjoys being part of a collaborative, mission-driven environment.
WHAT WE OFFER.
- $48,695 – $63,886 annual starting salary based on licensure and experience.
- PLUS $5,000 sign-on bonus.

- Full-time Monday – Friday position generally working 8am – 5pm.
WHAT YOU WILL DO.
- Support Children and Their Families. Provide case management services that help children and their support systems navigate challenges and access the care they need.
- Complete Assessments. Meet with children and families to understand their needs, strengths, and goals.
- Create and Guide Service Plans. Develop individualized treatment plans, coordinate care across disciplines, and make sure everyone involved has the support they need.
- Monitor Progress. Stay connected with families to assess how things are going, make adjustments when needed, and celebrate progress along the way.
- Respond When Urgent Needs Arise. Conduct emergency screenings and help families through difficult situations with compassion, calm, and professionalism.
- Maintain Accurate Records. Keep documentation organized, complete, and confidential to ensure high-quality care.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a Human Services field and experience working with children is required.
- Eligibility for Michigan licensure and at least one year of experience in the mental health field is preferred.
- Someone dynamic, people-oriented, and comfortable working with many different personalities and situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills—warmth, patience, and professionalism go a long way in this role.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Able to pass a criminal background check.
