Dr. Tim’s Pet Food Company seeks a self-directed, creative, and strategic Marketing & Brand Communications Manager to join their team in Marquette, Michigan. Preference given to those working in-office in Marquette. For someone exceptionally skilled in marketing and brand communication, we are open to someone working remotely.

This position leads a wide range of marketing, content, and brand initiatives and has high autonomy with very little day-to-day oversight. The ideal person sees what needs to be done, and confidently moves projects forward from idea to execution.

WHAT WE OFFER.

  • $24 – $29 per hour starting pay.
  • Paid time off.
  • This role starts as part-time (Monday-Friday with a flexible schedule) and has a path to full-time for someone motivated, energized, and excited to grow our brand.

WHAT YOU WILL DO.

  • Own and evolve brand messaging across website content, packaging, and video to ensure clarity, consistency, and SEO alignment.
  • Plan and execute digital marketing efforts, including email campaigns, promotions, influencer partnerships, and marketing initiatives for the CBD product line.
  • Oversee social media direction by reviewing content calendars, proposing campaign ideas, and coordinating on-brand content creation and filming.
  • Collaborate closely with the graphic designer on customer-facing materials such as product cards, promotional assets, apparel, and stickers.
  • Publish and repurpose video content to support website engagement and search visibility.
  • Manage event donations and sponsorships, including coordination, communication, approvals, and tracking.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR.

  • A self-directed, organized professional who thrives in a high-autonomy environment and confidently manages their own priorities, decisions, and deadlines.
  • Experience in digital marketing, including email marketing and social media management, with the ability to turn ideas into consistent, well-executed campaigns.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with a clear instinct for brand voice, tone, and messaging consistency.
  • A creative thinker who enjoys both generating ideas and seeing them through to execution.
  • Comfortable juggling multiple projects at once while maintaining attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Collaborative, communicative, and confident in driving projects forward independently.
  • You have first-hand experience as a pet owner (currently with one or more pets required) and have a genuine passion for pets and pet wellness (this is essential).
  • Experience with Shopify, email marketing platforms, or SEO is a plus, but not required.
