Stang Family Eyecare is seeking an Optometrist to fill in on an as-needed basis to provide coverage while our current optometrists are out of the office. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who is able to engage with patients in a warm and professional manner.

We are currently seeking a candidate who is able to work a flexible schedule December 2024-January 2025.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform all duties associated with primary care optometry, including (but not limited to):
  • Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications
  • Provide pre- and post-operative care
  • Diagnose and treat eye-related diseases
  • Promote eye health by counseling patients

• Work with and supervise other team members to ensure all patients receive exceptional service
• Make patients feel comfortable and confident in your ability to serve them
• Be a representative for our practice in a positive manner and excite others about our mission and value

COMPENSATION Stang Family Eyecare offers a competitive salary of $2500-$3000 per week based upon experience.

SCHEDULE This position offers a flexible schedule. This position will fill in as needed on a short-term basis. Currently, an optometrist is needed December 2024-January 2025. Outside of these dates, working hours will be flexible while optometrists are out of the office.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Optometry License in Michigan or eligible to obtain license before December 2024.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of the latest optometric techniques.
