Sacred Heart Catholic School seeks a motivated Part-time Custodian in L’Anse, MI. As Custodian, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our school is well-maintained and operates smoothly. You will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to keep the school environment clean, orderly, and conducive to learning.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and other areas of the school.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and effectively.
• Follow established safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe environment for students and staff.

SCHEDULE This is a part-time position working approximately 15 hours per week. Work is to be performed between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma required.
• Previous custodial experience preferred, but not required. 
• Must be self-motivated and be able to work independently.
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check and complete VIRTUS training.
