Binyon Vision Center is seeking a Part-Time Patient Coordinator to join their team in Burien, WA. As a Patient Coordinator, you will keep the clinic running smoothly by managing daily patient flow, handling communication and scheduling, processing insurance and payments, maintaining records, and keeping the front office organized and welcoming.

WHAT WE OFFER.

• Competitive salary of $18.00-$26.00 per hour based upon education and experience.
• Employee discount.
• Part-time schedule of approximately 16–24 hours per week. The primary schedule will be Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with the possibility of one additional weekday. Our office is open Monday–Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Thursday–Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. No weekends required.

WHAT YOU WILL DO.

• Manage the flow of the clinic.
• Answer phones, communicate with patients via email and text, and schedule appointments.
• Verify and bill insurance, collect and post payments.
• Prepare daily charts.
• Update patients’ demographic information.
• Explain office fees and policies.
• Coordinate communications between our clinic, patients, and referring offices.
• Ensure the front desk and office is organized and welcoming.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

• Experience working in a patient-focused role is preferred.
• Electronic medical record and billing knowledge is a plus.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
