The Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson seeks a Quality Manager to join their team in Iron Mountain, Michigan.

You’ll oversee key initiatives in population health, clinical quality, and process improvement, while fostering positive and effective relationships with our dedicated healthcare team. This position reports to the Vice President of Clinical Services and Population Health.

WHAT WE OFFER.

  • $72,954 – $109,431 annual salary based on experience.

WHAT YOU WILL DO.

  • Continuous Improvement: Manage system-wide activities to improve clinical quality outcomes and population health.
  • Initiative Development: Develop, implement, train, and evaluate health and quality programs, including CMS gaps in care and other quality programs.
  • Program Participation: Participate in data sharing programs to improve quality and population health.
  • Quality Monitoring: Track key quality indicators, evaluate program effectiveness, and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Education and Compliance: Educate and monitor compliance of physicians, hospital managers, providers, and staff on quality initiatives.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Lead quality initiatives, supervise staff (Care Managers, Social Workers, Utilization Review Staff, Discharge Planning Staff, etc.), and perform performance evaluations.
  • Data and Budget Management: Manage electronic health records, research data for initiatives, and oversee department budget and policies.
  • Patient Satisfaction: Monitor patient satisfaction survey results and coordinate action plans to improve quality scores.
  • Collaboration: Work with hospital departments on population health, quality improvement, and health system innovation strategies. Oversee Clinical Risk/Peer Review.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Business, or other healthcare field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with clinical quality initiatives required. Experience with Patient-Centered Medical Home and Meaningful Use helpful.
  • Supervisory, leadership, and training experience preferred.
  • Population health experience preferred.
  • Ability to manage a diverse workload and prioritize tasks in an environment with changing priorities is essential.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a professional demeanor that ensures trust and competence amongst providers and team members.
  • Ability to successfully pass a pre-hire drug screening and background check.
