Swick Home Services is seeking a skilled Residential HVAC Installer to join their growing team in Marquette, MI. As a Residential HVAC Installer, you’ll be responsible for installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential settings. You’ll work closely with homeowners, project managers, and team members to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient installations that meet code and exceed customer expectations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO.

• Install HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, ductwork, hydronic pipes and controls, thermostats, and related components in residential properties.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Inspect job sites and plan installations accordingly.
• Test systems for proper functioning and ensure all components meet safety standards and codes.
• Communicate effectively with homeowners and answer any questions related to installations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately.
• Ensure all installations comply with local, state, and federal codes and regulations.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

• 3+ years of experience in residential HVAC installation required.
• EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Experience with both retrofit and new construction installations preferred.
• Proficiency with smart thermostats and advanced system controls is a plus.
• Strong understanding of HVAC codes and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces or at heights.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
