Creative Mines, a Hancock, Michigan-based software development and consulting company, seeks a Sales Director-Software Solutions. This is a full-time remote position that can work from anywhere in the United States. The Sales Director is an incredible opportunity for a professional who is keenly attuned to the software and technology industry, has proven managerial experience and an outstanding track record in sales.

SUPPORT & COMPENSATION.

Our clients desire to be served by like-minded peers. Candidates for this position have an established network of contacts, and proven experience generating leads, building long-lasting relationships, and sales growth. While this person will work independently, they are supported by our CEO to assure revenue targets, goals, and client expectations are met. The position also offers:

  • $100,000 – $125,000 base salary plus $50,000 – $75,000 OTE commission.
  • Health and dental insurance, 401(k) with company match up to 4% of salary, profit sharing, and paid time off (vacation, sick time, holidays).

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED AS OUR SALES DIRECTOR.

Strong candidates for this position embody the following:

  • adept networking skills within the software and IT space with significant experience in B2B sales;
  • can expertly lead the company’s sales strategy, define key metrics and goals, and develop and deliver a sales training program to train new sales employees;
  • complete end-to-end sales cycles – from cold calling, scheduling, facilitating meetings and demonstrations, to closing the sale;
  • enjoy problem solving and have strong critical thinking skills;
  • possess a creative approach to penetrating new accounts;
  • have in-depth knowledge of marketing techniques and best practices;
  • provide quality leadership to nurture and maintain relationships, and manage a small team;
  • navigate and efficiently use industry tech (LinkedIn, Asana, Slack, Airtable, Google for Business);
  • ability to successfully work remotely, create your own schedule, and manage deadlines;
  • ability to travel, as needed;
  • eligible for employment in the United States on or before the effective date of hire if offered this position. Visa sponsorship is not available at this time.
