  • Manage Metrics/KPIs for team and individual contributors on an ongoing basis (weekly huddles; monthly 1-on-1s).
  • Sales Negotiation. Actively participate with VP Sales and Regional Sales Managers in challenging negotiations as well a developing/executing negotiation training to sales team.
  • Key Customer Management. Develop relationships with key customers (OEMs, end users, target industries, high potential customers). Provide leads to sales managers.
  • Industry Expert. Identify and develop strategic partnerships with related manufacturers and suppliers including speaking at and attending tradeshows, participating in industry conferences, sales meetings and workshops, networking at industry events, and identifying areas to grow product lines.
  • Sales Process Development. Develop, maintain and enhance product line playbooks.
  • Business Development. Identify and develop new business opportunities and sales growth strategies to drive product line growth.
  • Product Champion. Identify and develop new and improved product ideas by actively engaging customers, sales, R&D, and manufacturing teams. Assess potential product partnership opportunities.

  • Bachelor’s degree with considerable technical experience.
  • 5+ years professional sales experience including leadership/management of direct reports required. This position will manage a team of 5 sales professionals.
  • Drive, experience and proven success in building relationships with market stakeholders is crucial.
  • Ability/expertise to develop technical knowledge, share best practices, and be a business partner to industry stakeholders.
  • Business acumen to assess our products, the market, competition, and make strategic recommendations.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally (40-50%) including occasional weekend travel.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software required; Salesforce CRM, a bonus.
  • Ability to spot trends to help shape new development needs, drive feedback from the market to business managers, and identify/analyze potential partnerships for product.
