Treetown Tech seeks Senior Embedded Software Engineers to join their team in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This is a hybrid remote position offering schedule flexibility and opportunity to work from home several days per week and dependent upon project needs.

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS. Starting salary of $100,000 – $140,000 annually based on knowledge and experience.   • Develop embedded software for various projects in both the military and consumer space.
  • Test new and existing platforms.
  • Debug existing software platforms.
  • Software documentation and version control.
  • Design and develop Windows and Linux based software test verification tools.

A CAREER OPPORTUNITY. This position offers immense growth opportunity for someone driven to excel. Strong candidates for this position possess the following:

  • 5 or more years’ experience developing embedded software required.
  • Experience and proficiency with C or C++ programming required; Python a bonus.
  • Good understanding of low-level microcontroller programming.
  • Passion for developing quality software and software development methodologies.
  • Experience programming and debugging microcontrollers on PCBs.
  • Embedded Linux experience is a bonus.
  • Full stack web application development is a bonus.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering desired, however, your experience matters most to us.
  • Experience with Unit Test and CI/CD tool chains for embedded development preferred.
  • Ability to work directly with end-users and customers.
  • Collaborative nature that enjoys an R&D and prototyping environment that allows you to work with teams as well be an active individual contributor.
