Vollwerth & Co. is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Truck Driver (Class B CDL) to join our team based in Hancock, Michigan. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering our products to customers across the Upper Peninsula and parts of Wisconsin, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional service at every stop. 

This position is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and takes pride in maintaining strong customer relationships while operating safely and efficiently on the road. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Deliver products to grocery stores, convenience stores, ice cream shops, and other customer locations. 

• Load, unload, and transport goods safely using a straight truck (over 26,000 GVW). 

• Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and follow all safety and maintenance procedures. 

• Ensure accurate and timely deliveries while maintaining product quality. 

• Maintain professional communication with customers, sales representatives, and internal team members. 

• Follow proper lifting techniques and safe handling procedures throughout the workday. 

• Travel regionally, including 1–2 nights per week on the road (hotel accommodations provided). 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Valid Class B CDL required. 

• Ability to pass a drug test. 

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. 

• Excellent time management and reliability. 

• Ability to lift, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the day. 

• Previous delivery driving experience preferred but not required. 

SCHEDULE: 

• Full-time position. 

• Weekday routes with local and regional travel. 

• Includes 1–2 overnight trips per week. 

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: 

• Pay range of $22.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience. 

• Overtime paid at time and a half after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week. 

• Potential wage increase after 90-day probationary period. 

• Paid time off. 

• Company-paid hotel accommodations for overnight routes.
