Massie Manufacturing, Inc., a state-of-the-art welding and fabrication specialist, seeks experienced Welders in Baraga, Michigan. Whether you’re looking for a full-time role or more flexible, part-time hours, we’d love to have you on our team.

As a Welder, you’ll play a hands-on role in building high-quality products by fitting and welding components with precision. You’ll be part of a team that takes pride in safety, craftsmanship, and delivering top-notch results on time.

What We Offer:

  • $18 – $26 per hour based on skills and experience.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time: Monday–Thursday 6am–3:30pm, Friday 6am–10am
  • Part-time: Flexible hours within our full-time hours of operation.

What You Will Do:

  • Ensure efficient welding operations to meet customer demand and deliver products on time.
  • Fabricate complex weldments according to customer specifications and quality standards.
  • Operate a forklift (training provided).
  • Take pride in keeping your work area clean and organized.
  • Step in to support other production areas when needed.
  • Communicate effectively with the Leadership Team as required.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Strong self-motivation and a solid work ethic required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of welding experience or completion of a formal welding program from an accredited technical school/institute.
  • Current welding certification, or willingness to earn AWS certification.
  • Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints.
  • Proficient in using precise measuring tools and equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and maintain quality in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to following company policies and safe work practices.
