Allied Petrochemical is seeking a Senior Process & Manufacturing Engineer to join its growing operations in Alvin (Houston-area), Texas. As a Senior Process & Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in optimizing, designing, and improving chemical manufacturing processes. You will lead process optimization initiatives, support plant operations, and drive improvements in efficiency, safety, and product quality while working closely with operations, leadership, and customers.

This is a high-visibility role with opportunities to influence plant performance, lead projects, and grow into increased responsibility.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Lead process optimization, design, and improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and support stable operation of existing chemical processes.
• Troubleshoot process upsets, equipment issues, and quality deviations.
• Collaborate with operations to improve efficiency, safety, and reliability.
• Support debottlenecking, process safety, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Scale up processes from the lab to the pilot plant, then ultimately to full-scale production.
• Lead and support small to mid-sized capital and process improvement projects
• Coordinate process design with equipment, piping, instrumentation, and safety requirements.
• Interface with customers, consultants, and internal teams as needed.
• Support process safety management (PSM) and regulatory compliance.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (required).
• 8–15 years of experience in chemical manufacturing, process optimization, or process engineering (preferred).
• Strong background in process design, troubleshooting, and plant operations.
• Experience with process safety management (PSM) preferred.
• Hands-on, self-motivated, and solutions-oriented mindset.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interface with senior leadership.
• Ability and interest in assuming increased responsibility over time.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
