Alderwood Vision Source is looking for a full-time Optician to join our friendly, professional eye care team in Lynnwood, WA.

This is a great opportunity for those that enjoy helping patients, working with eyewear, and being part of a team-focused medical office. If you have a passion for patient care, strong attention to detail, and enjoy helping people find the right eyewear, we’d love to meet you.

SCHEDULE: 

• Full-time, Monday through Friday schedule
• Two evenings per week required

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Help patients select eyewear that fits their vision needs, lifestyle, and personal style.
• Educate patients on lenses, frames, and eyewear technology.
• Perform eyewear sales in a patient-focused, professional way.
• Explain and communicate insurance benefits clearly to patients.
• Submit and communicate eyewear orders to labs.
• Work closely with doctors and team members to support patient care.
• Stay informed on new eyewear products, lens options, and optical technology.
• Thrive in a busy boutique optical setting with a strong focus on healthcare.
• Complete other duties and projects as assigned by management.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

• 2 years of Optician experience is preferred, but we are open to training the right candidate.
• Strong knowledge of optical products, lenses, frames, and measurements.
• Excellent communication and patient service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stay organized and complete tasks in a timely manner.
• A positive, team-first attitude.
• Comfortable working in a busy, professional medical office.
• Passion for helping patients see and feel their best.
