Do you love caring for kids and creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment? We’re looking for a caring and reliable Childcare Provider to assist our family in Iron Mountain, Michigan. This is an in-home position and can be either full-time or part-time during the work week.

You’ll be working with a professional husband-and-wife team who are committed to providing a nurturing, structured environment for their five children, ages 2–8. Each day brings something new—reading stories, exploring outside, or doing creative activities. You’ll provide gentle guidance, structure, and lots of patience while ensuring our 2- and 3-year-old boys feel safe, and cared for. (The 5-year-old girl, 6-year-old boy, and 8-year-old girl are in school full-time.)

WHAT YOU’LL DO.

• Supervise, engage, and play with our two youngest boys (ages 2 and 3) in our smoke-free home.
• Care for all five children from 3:30 PM – 6:00 PM; parents are typically home by 6 PM.
• Engage in age-appropriate activities.
• Prepare snacks and light meals as needed.
• Put boys down for naps on a set schedule.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and nurturing environment.
• Take advantage of our local park, just a short walk from our home.

WHAT WE OFFER.

• $15 per hour.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR.

• Someone dependable, kind, and patient with young children still in diapers.
• Experience in childcare, babysitting, or early childhood education is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple ages at once with a calm, positive approach.
• Non-smoker aged 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record (in the event of emergencies).
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
