Shawsheen Coating and Converting, Inc. is seeking an organized and dependable Shipping, Receiving & Warehousing Supervisor to join their production team in Andover, MA. As Shipping, Receiving & Warehousing Supervisor, you will provide oversight and direction to the Shipping & Receiving Department. The supervisor will work with and lead the department employees as a part of the team to meet daily requirements, while maintaining an organized warehouse.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

●      Manage and lead the shipping and receiving department employees.

●      Review shipping and receiving procedures and requirements and make recommendations for improvements.

●      Perform all shipping and receiving tasks as required.

●      Work overtime as required to meet scheduled ship dates.

●      Follow all company policies, procedures, and product specifications.

●      Perform daily physical inventory validation count from previous day production.

●      Prepare orders for shipment per established procedures.

●      Prepare documentation required and schedule shipments via domestic common carrier, UPS, FedEx, or other.

●      Receive and perform incoming material receiving inspections per quality requirements.

●      Maintain a high level of housekeeping in all storage and warehousing areas.

●      Maintain all materials in FIFO organization in all storage and warehouse areas.

●      Deliver materials from storage areas to production areas.

●      Perform cycle & physical inventory counts.

●      Load and unload trucks.

●      Lock up plant/set alarm at end of the shift.

●      Shall follow all safety and environmental rules, requirements, and procedures as established in the facility.

●      Other duties as assigned.

SCHEDULE: This is a full-time position working 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., with overtime as required.

COMPENSATION: Annual salary of $60,000 – $90,000 commensurate with experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

●      High school diploma or equivalent is preferred or equivalent related experience.

●      3+ years of supervisory experience in Shipping/Receiving/Warehousing preferred.

●      Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.

●      Ability to supervise 3-5 employees and be a working supervisor.

●      Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

●      Highly organized and able to prioritize.

●      Must be dependable and able to stand for long periods of time.

●      Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment.

●      Basic math and computer skills, experience with an ERP a plus.

●      Able to safely operate sit down and stand-up gas & electric forklifts & pallet jacks.

●      Capable of using 2-wheel dolly hand trucks to move rolls up to 250 lbs. maximum.
