If so, Copper Country Mental Health Services has an opening for a full-time Therapist/Client Services Manager to join their Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team in Houghton, Michigan.

WHAT YOU’LL DO.

You will play an important role in providing integrated, person-centered services to individuals with co-occurring behavioral health needs and severe and persistent mental illness. Your responsibilities will include:

  • providing clinical assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing therapeutic support
  • delivering individual and group therapy, education, skill training, family support, and crisis intervention
  • coordinating services as part of a comprehensive, multidisciplinary team
  • working closely with consumers, families, staff, supervisors, and community partners
  • supporting individuals in building stability, independence, and meaningful progress toward personal goals

WHAT WE OFFER.

  • $61,193 – $77,631 annual starting salary based on education and experience.
  • PLUS $5,000 sign-on bonus.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR.

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required.
  • Current Michigan licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure in your field of study, is required.
  • Experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • A dynamic, people-oriented approach and genuine commitment to person-centered care.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background screening.
