CITGO Petroleum Corporation is seeking to hire exceptional Boilermakers who can provide Maintenance field expertise that will support our ongoing Operations at the Lake Charles Manufacturing Complex.

Boilermaker experience and skills include:

• Basic craft knowledge of straight and U-tube exchangers, furnaces, process boilers, vessels utilizing screens, filters, and towers
• Familiar with major parts of exchangers, furnaces, boilers, and towers
• Ability to test and plug exchanger tubes, test furnaces, and boilers, and clean burners on both
• Possess basic rigging skills, go-devil (carry deck) operation skills, forklift and man lift operation skills, and use of fresh air equipment
• Familiarity with bolting procedures, torquing, and gasket installation best practices
• Knowledge of heat exchanger inspection, bundle pulling, and reinstallation procedures

REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate apprentice or vocational technical school plus four years industrial experience as a journeyman level Boilermaker OR
  • 8 years of industrial experience as a journeyman level Boilermaker
• Supervisory and/or planning experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Candidates must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credentials Card)
• Must have the ability to work, day and night, and be available for overtime
• Must have the ability to climb ladders/work in high locations
• Must successfully complete assessments, background checks, and medical exams
