CITGO Petroleum Corporation is seeking to hire exceptional Pipefitters who can provide Maintenance field expertise that will support our ongoing Operations at the Lake Charles Manufacturing Complex.

Pipefitter experience and skills include:

• Basic craft knowledge of flange size, pipe size, bolt size, and gasket sizes
• Ability to work with copper and stainless-steel tubing
• Ability to fabricate threaded pipe
• Possess basic rigging skills, go-devil operation skills, forklift operation skills, and manlift operation skills
• Ability to estimate and procure materials necessary for jobs
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, and blueprints
• Familiarity with bolting procedures, torquing, and gasket installation best practices

REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate apprentice or vocational technical school plus 4 years industrial experience as a journeyman level Pipefitter OR
  • 8 years of industrial experience as a journeyman level Pipefitter
• Supervisory and/or planning experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Candidates must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credentials Card)
• Must have the ability to work day and night, and be available for overtime
• Must have the ability to climb ladders/work in high locations
• Must successfully complete assessments, background checks, and medical exams
